Our organization has been in the Employee Benefits business in Northwest Indiana for more than fifty years. We consult with businesses and employee benefit committees and assist them in designing programs that are tailored to fit their specific needs and budget.
Christopher W. Dilts, CFP®, CEBS, CLU®, ChFC® is a graduate of Indiana University in the School of Economics. He joined M. A. Dilts & Associates, Inc., in 1981 and became President in 1996.
His professional designations include the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) issued by the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans, Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Charted Life Underwriter (CLU) Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF). Chris is also a graduate of Purdue University’s Executive and Employee Fringe Benefit Planning.
Christopher is past President of the Northwest Indiana Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, Lake County Parks and Recreation and the Miller Area Jaycees. He has also served as a Board member of the Wellness Council of Northwest Indiana, the Northwest Indiana Association of Health Underwriters and the Indiana Association of IAFA and is currently a Board member of the Lake County Parks and Recreation.
Robin L. Ellis is the Office Manager for M. A. Dilts & Associates, Inc. Robin began her insurance career over 30 years ago in Northwest Indiana and was promoted to Chicago prior to accepting a position with M. A. Dilts & Associates, Inc., in 1986. Robin coordinates our Pension and Qualified Plan services in addition to being responsible for daily office operations.
Shelley D. Harris, Benefit Specialist, is a 1995 graduate of Purdue University. She majored in Economics with specialty areas in Management and History, concentrating in Human Resources. She has been with M. A. Dilts & Associates, Inc., since 1996 and currently holds a Health, Life and Disability License. Shelley is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and is currently completing coursework to become a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist.
